Cause
Keratitis may or may not be associated with an infection.
Noninfectious keratitis can be caused by:
i) minor injury
ii) wearing contact lenses too long
iii) foreign body in the eye
Infectious keratitis can be caused by bacteria, viruses, fungi, and parasites.
