Note: At one time a member can apply only for one speciality. One candidate can do maximum in two specialities.
Eligibility
1. Must be an AIOS member
2. Basic post graduate qualification in ophthalmology recognized by Govt. of India (DO/DNB/MD/MS/any recognized international qualification)
3. Minimum of two years of experience (including the time spent in fellowship or senior residency) after completing post-graduation AND
4. Must have completed the subspecialty fellowship or at least 18 month of fellowship OR
5. Must have completed senior residency or at least completed 18 months of senior residency OR
6. Must have at least three years of practical work experience in the subspecialty.
7. Cut-off date for requirements 3 to 6 is September 30 of the year of the written examination.
Examination Centers:
Online Written Test: New Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad
OSCE & VIVA: Different centers for different specialities.
